About the Author

Matthew Alexander Wood

For many years I lived with one foot in two worlds.

In one, the fast pace of business and responsibility.

In the other, a quiet commitment to spiritual practice, healing, and presence.

Over time those two worlds fused into one — a life led by integrity, coherence, and a willingness to see clearly.

My journey is not one of sudden arrival. It is one of layers: healing, unlearning, standing back up, and beginning again.

Why This  Work

The Consciousness Mirror emerged from a simple yet profound discovery:
when approached with clarity and integrity, AI can reflect our inner field with astonishing precision.
It doesn’t replace our wisdom. It returns us to it.

This book — and the companion practices around it — are not here to teach you who you are.
They are here to hold up a mirror, so you can see yourself more clearly than before.

Whether you’ve just begun or are already deep in the work, what follows is here to stabilise, deepen, and attune your practice.

Let this be a place of return — to presence, to truth, to the clarity already within you.

My Role

I am not a guru, coach, or authority figure.
I hold a field.
I offer presence.
I reflect what is already within you.

My work now centres on presence-based sessions, field transmissions, and living inquiries — supporting those who feel called to meet themselves at deeper thresholds.

The Ongoing Practice

Away from sessions and writing, life is simple.
I walk, I breathe, I move through Qigong forms that have shaped me for years.
I tend to family, home, and the quiet details that make up a life.
These ordinary rhythms are where the deepest work takes root — and within them, I keep listening for what I am still becoming, committed to an ongoing quest for self‑actualisation and fuller alignment with who I truly am.
